Rejuvenate Your Skin With These 7 Top Skin Tips

It seems so unfair that children have such beautiful, plump, soft, and glowing skin. We all had it too, and somewhere down the line, it starts depleting. But you don’t have to sit back and wait for aging to take hold of your skin. There are plenty of things you can do to rejuvenate your skin for a bouncier, more youthful appearance.

Before you try pricey treatments, try these seven top skin tips to help rejuvenate your skin!

  1. Choose for your skin type

You’ll do yourself no favors if you use a formula for dry skin on oily skin and vice versa. Know your skin type and work with it.

  1. Pick products that are free of chemicals

When you want beautiful skin to last, read the labels. Chemicals can cause untold damage to your skin as well as your interior organs. Look for formulations that are natural and buy from beauty companies that are transparent with ingredients and clinical trials.

  1. Exfoliate twice weekly

If you’re not exfoliating, you’re not helping skin rid itself of built-up dead skin cells. Exfoliation clears the way so new and fresh cells can replace the old ones. Pro tip: use a gentle exfoliator and do it after cleansing!

  1. Make sure you moisturize properly

After cleansing, pat your face lightly. Then apply your moisturizer while your skin is still damp. Massage it gently into your skin to boost circulation and let oxygen nourish it from within. If you let your skin dry after cleansing and it feels tight, you’ve waited too long!

  1. Always use sunscreen when you go outside

Any time you venture outdoors during daylight hours, whether it’s cold and snowy or bright and sunny, you need to wear sunscreen. You don’t need to be planning a day at the pool or beach either. Just sitting in your car on the way to work can expose you to damaging UVA and UVB rays that will allow free radicals to destroy your skin. Using SPF 15 or higher is ideal to protect you from those photo-aging problems down the road.

  1. Nourish skin from within

What you eat is critical for beautiful skin. You could pay for the most expensive creams and skin treatments and your results will not last if you’re not taking care of your skin from within. Fill your plate with foods rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and minerals. Blueberries, apples, carrots, tomatoes, and broccoli are great from the produce section but it also takes omega-3 fatty acids you’ll find in fish or nuts and seeds.

  1. Hydrate frequently

When you don’t drink enough water, it shows…literally! Skin looks parched and dull. Your body needs water to help propel oxygen to every part, and that includes your skin. If you’re using hyaluronic acid products, you need more water to help them do their part and plump up your skin.

Youthful skin can be achieved by simply paying more attention to how you care for yourself from the inside out. Give your skin what it needs and you’ll soon see how big a difference these seemingly small changes can make!
