Using A Jade Roller: How To Get The Best Benefits From This Ancient Tool

A few years ago, jade rollers began trending on social media. But they’ve been on-trend in Asia since ancient times.

Simple as it may appear, this beauty tool is a must for anyone who wants to look and feel better every day. How does it work?

The dual-sided rollers are made of jade stone and offer soothing rolling to relieve tension through a relaxing facial massage. Simply rolling it across your face helps drain lymphatic fluid trapped behind the tissues of your face.

When the lymphatic system isn’t flowing as it should, the trapped fluids lock in toxins and create blockages.

In ancient practices, it was believed this tool could move things over again in a holistic way. The result is that it aligns the lymphatic system and the circulatory system to align healthy flow, cell turnover, and inspire natural healing.

Lymph energy, known as “chi” in the East, helps bring harmony and balance. After using a jade roller, you won’t just feel uplifted and brighter…you’ll look it too.

Jade Rolling benefits

You go to the gym for the rest of your muscles, so why not treat your face and neck muscles to a workout too? While you can’t use them to bench-press, you can use your jade roller to give them a workout.

Circulation is boosted, muscles are toned, collagen is stimulated, and toxins are pushed out of your system. It also helps your skincare products absorb more efficiently and effectively.

One thing that really stands out with using a jade roller though is that it tackles inflammation which is the root cause of disease and aging. By simply taking the time to smooth things over with this wonderfully soothing facial tool, you can improve your skin and your health in one.

Using A Jade Roller The Right Way

With a jade roller, it’s important to start at the neck with the larger side and roll up and down. This awakens the lymphatic system and helps it to start draining toxins away.

From there, move the roller to your jawline. Use it from the center of your chin, rolling toward each earlobe before switching sides.

Move the jade roller onto the forehead starting from the center and then heading toward the outer temple on each side. Alternate from going upward off each brow to your hairline after that.

Finally, the eyes should use the smaller end of the jade roller. Gently roll from the inner corner upward to the outer corner. Go back and forth with each move, roughly 10 times on each side.

However, be sure you’re using a genuine jade roller. The way to tell is that it will feel cool to the touch.

Even with a real one though, those with acne, cold sores, or skin rashes should avoid using a jade roller because you could spread germs and make things worse.

When using your jade roller, be sure to clean it between uses to get the best out of it. And if you really want to delight your senses, keep yours in the refrigerator for a soothing, spa-like treatment morning or night!
