The oil itself comes from the seed within a fruit that grows on the tamanu tree. This tree is very special and quite rare as it only grows in specific areas in the South Pacific. The process for the making of this oil is highly detailed and extensive.

Once the seeds are gathered, they are left out in the sun for up to two months and then the extraction of the nectar begins. Cold-pressed tamanu oil is definitely a valuable entity, especially if you tend to struggle with your skin for various reasons.

Acne And Scars

Where this is especially beneficial is in the treatment of stretch marks.

Stretch Marks And Rashes

One of the most difficult types of scarring to deal with is stretch marks. Several studies conducted over the years have shown that the topical treatment of stretch marks with tamanu oil helps to decrease their size as well as fade their intensity. The thick consistency is perfect to apply as a coat onto the skin.

If you suffer from random rashes, whether a form of dermatitis or something less chronic, the presence of tamanu oil can help to mitigate the irritation, lessen swelling and return your skin back to its normal, healthy state.
