Taken from the buds, leaves and the flowering tops of a tree by the same name, the oil is highly effective and can be used to provide the necessary ease to specific issues.
It is known to help stomach issues, promote urination and a myriad of other applications. What's more is that this oil can easily be used in your beauty and hair care regimen due to its intrinsic and latent properties. Here are some of the ways this oil can be used.
Menstruation Irregularities
For some women, their periods aren't as regular and predictable as they should be. Sometimes they skip periods or have incredibly painful or heavy periods for a variety of reasons. This can be a very difficult and disruptive thing to go through, especially because periods have a knack of interrupting and changing moods and hormones.
This oil can help to regulate your menstruation cycle and return it back to normal. Use a few drops mixed with a carrier oil like jojoba or grape seed and rub it on the lower part of your abdomen. Do this every day for a couple of weeks and notice how your period will start to become more regular and your symptoms will be mitigated.
Hair Health
When hair gets drab and lifeless, it's time to switch up the way that you care for it. The way that our hair looks is a distinct and direct reflection of our health and our hygiene practices. So when it starts to look a bit dull then it's time to add something that will give it a necessary boost.
Because mugwort helps to circulate the blood it is incredibly healthy and beneficial for the scalp. It increases the blood flow which helps to make the hair follicles healthier which lead to shine and strength. This combined with the vitamin E oil that is present in the oil will help to cure dry scalp and alleviate any traces of dandruff you may be suffering from.
Diuretic
For those who are looking to start any type of cleanse, or just want to give their adrenals and kidney's a bit of help, mugwort is actually a diuretic, which means that it helps to remove any type of excess water, fat or salts. What many people don't understand is that water retention is something that takes place in many health conditions.
This can cause swelling in the feet and hands. Make sure you drink plenty of water if you are going to use this as a diuretic.
You'll also find that this oil will help to facilitate your digestion and help to regulate your appetite. This is one of the reasons that many people who are interested in losing weight take a diuretic to help the process along.
