While everyone has heard of olive oil as a cooking oil, few people understand how universally used it can be in other ways outside of the kitchen. Olive fruit oil is multi faceted and has incredibly nutritious and health-related properties that some are unaware of. There is a method to understanding olive fruit oil and all the many ways that it can be used. Traditionally, olive oil is used in cooking, but as the fat that is acquired from the fruit olea europaea or olive, it has various uses. The oil can be used on skin, hair and nails.
Great For Your Face
Olive fruit oil is fantastic for the skin as it provides it with essential nutrients and vitamins. Rich in both vitamin A and vitamin E, it helps the skin to repair and renew itself more readily. Dead skin cells cycle through and new, strong fortified skin cells take their place. The presence of vitamin A and E help this process along. Olive fruit oil is also known to be great on the face because it doesn't clog pores or leave skin feeling incredibly oily. It also has amazing anti-aging properties, as it naturally gets rid of free radicals and helps eliminate toxins that harm bad skin, such as pollution and cigarette smoke.
Other Skin Uses
There are many different ways that olive fruit oil can be used on the skin. In the event of sunburn, using the oil is regarded as a great natural remedy. In the event aloe vera, also known to be great for sunburn, isn't available, olive fruit oil is a great aid. Due to its healing and microbial properties, this oil can be used on diaper rash, sores and cuts. Some men state that it's a fantastic substitute for shaving cream and acts as a perfect after shave. It softens and moisturizes the skin without making it greasy or oversaturated. It can also be used as a makeup remover.
The natural polyphenol properties, that make the oil both anti fungal and anti bacterial, make it a great option for the hair as well. The oil naturally helps to cleanse and maintain a healthy pH level for the scalp, as well as smooth, frizzy, dry and unmanageable hair. Olive fruit oil is also a great way to prevent the premature graying of hair. The properties within the oil have a darkening effect that will prevent the hair from turning silver or gray, whether that be from mineral deficiency or old age. It also is known to promote hair growth. The hair follicles react positively to the oil and are stimulated to grow more quickly when the oil is used as a moisturizer or conditioner.
Olive fruit oil can also be used on excessively dry hands or put on fingernails to strengthen them. The ways in which olive fruit oil can be used are truly endless. Its just a matter of us grasping and understanding the benefits of the oil.
