Avocado Oil For Your Skin

Avocado oil is becoming one of the preeminent oils to incorporate into healthy lifestyles. It has many worthwhile and beneficial properties, and like many other oils, can be used in a whole host of different ways. As the name suggests, the oil comes from the popular avocado fruit. While avocado does make amazing guacamole and tastes fabulous on a taco, its oil can be used as a healthy aspect of skin care regimens. The fruit is high in sterolin, antioxidants, fats and lecithin, which gives it amazing nutritious properties for the face. Here are all the ways it can improve your skin.

Texture

Sometimes skin is dry and rough if it isn't taken care of properly. This also happens to people who have naturally sensitive skin or suffer from drying skin conditions, like eczema or psoriasis. Avocado oil is amazing at making skin soft and supple to the touch. Due to the high level of vitamin E and monosaturated fatty acids, the oil is able to give the skin a silky, smooth finish. The powerful antioxidants within the oil are also known to be great aids on sunburned skin. Spend too much time unprotected out at the beach? Rub avocado oil on your skin for some relief.

Moisturizing

One of the foremost areas that people go wrong with their skin is in not moisturizing it - while there are a slew of expensive, over-the-counter products that promise to provide the skin with needed moisture. Most of them contain harmful chemicals and ingredients that are actually bad for the skin. Avocado oil is a fantastic option for a moisturizer because it's light and airy. It will permeate and absorb through the skin quickly without leaving any heavy residue or making the skin appear greasy. A great source of skin hydration, this oil can be used both in the morning and at night.

Acne Treatment

Dealing with those annoying little blemishes that have plagued all of us at one time or another can be incredibly irritating and burdensome. Acne is often caused by dirt and free radicals that rest too long on the skin. Because of its ability for the oil to penetrate skin, and its positive attributes, the oil can eliminate a myriad of acne-causing dirt in and around the pores. Avocado oil is also known to help with the inflammation that also tends to come with acne breakouts and scaring.

With all the amazing fat properties of the oil, it's no wonder that it also helps reverse and stop the aging process. Because of its ability to eliminate free radicals, those things that cause cancer and signs of aging, the oil works to prevent fine lines and wrinkles from forming in all those likely and troublesome spots. Avocado oil has a component called mitochondria which gives the cells much needed nutrients and energy, aiding in the elasticity of the skin. This is needed so the skin remains smooth and wrinkle free.
