Trusty Linden Oil And Why You Need Some

One of the key components of any good essential oil is how much it can do. This means that if it is multi-use and can be effective in many different areas, it is a true winner. There are tons of different oils that not only provide a necessary remedy for a specific issue but provide numerous remedies for a variety of things. One of the oils that fits into this category is linden oil. It has positive effects on the immune system and is great for a host of other reasons. Here are all the ways in which linden oil can be beneficial.

Anxiety

If you are a person who suffers with anxiety - feeling like you are constantly worried, like you can't sleep, or have an overall general unease that makes you feel unwell and nervous to your core. - can sometimes be incredibly crippling and debilitating. It is not a positive experience and suffering from it can be life altering. Linden oil has a specific effect on the nervous system that allows it to naturally diminish stress and calm nerves. You can rub a bit on your fingertips and inhale. Or try adding a couple of drops to your diffuser or humidifier and watch as your anxiety starts to diminish after 20 to 30 minutes.

Eliminates Free Radicals

Free radicals are not your friends. Free radicals are particles in the environment and air that can cause damage to our cells in many ways, from making us look old by damaging our skin, to causing specific diseases and internal problems. The antioxidant content of linden oil helps to neutralize free radicals, making them less harmful. This is superior protection from outliers that could ultimately hurt you.

Fights Illness

We all deal with the standard flu or cold that really takes us out of commission for awhile. Linden oil has amazing properties that make it a much needed and powerful oil when you are feeling under the weather. Historically it has been shown to be effective at breaking a fever. Not only that but it can also help to lessen symptoms of the flu as well. If you are having respiratory issues, this is also a great oil to use to clear up any congestion or swelling. Try some in a humidifier or even rub a mix of the oil directly onto your chest.

Indigestion

If you sometimes have trouble with your digestive system you certainly are not alone. So many people struggle with tummy troubles. When this happens or after you've overindulged in a meal, you want to put a bit of linden oil on your stomach. This naturally reduces gastrointestinal discomfort while also helping to stimulate the natural digestive process for food to have a more comfortable passage through the intestines. You can mix a bit of linden oil with some peppermint or lemongrass oil for the desired effect to take hold.
