The Benefits Of Fir Needle Essential Oil

The fir needle is often known in the context of winter and white snowy, cold weather. However, the tree yields amazing benefits that many aren't even aware of. The oil form of fir can be enjoyed all year round and can effectively contribute to improved health.

The process of distillation is how the oil is formed from the flat leaves of the tree that resemble needles. Many impressive and effective compounds and properties lie within those little leaves. Here are some key ways that fir oil can be used.

Pain Reliever

If you suffer from chronic pain, you'll likely try anything that will allow you to find a bit of relief and adequately soothe your muscles and allow the pain to dissipate even marginally.

Fir needle oil has the ability to do just that as the stimulating elements in the oil help to promote blood flow, bringing it to the surface of the skin with allows healing to happen much quicker than it would ordinarily. It's great to add to massage oils or even lotions as a way to treat specific parts of the body that may give you some trouble.

Deodorizer

Dealing with bad smells can really put you in a bit of a funk, literally. Whether it's your laundry room that smells a bit foul or a trash can or where you put your gym bag, dealing with unsavory smells isn't a fun thing to do. This forest smelling oil is a great way to get rid of those stenches.

Put a few drops in a spray bottle with some witch hazel and spray the problem areas for a long lasting freshness.
