Minnesota-based medical technology company Soundly recently launched the first app-based therapy clinically proven to reduce snoring by simply playing a mobile game for 15 minutes a day for six to 12 weeks. In partnership with the University of Minnesota's Sleep Centers and the Medical Devices Center, researchers recently demonstrated the ability to reduce snoring through a noninvasive therapy facilitated by a smartphone game called Soundly.

Snoring could be more than just a nighttime frustration, say researchers at the Henry Ford Hospital in Detroit, Mich.
