Magnesium is an essential mineral that you should take daily for heart health. Adequate magnesium also improves the function of your digestive system and regulates your mood by calming your body and releasing more feel-good hormones in your brain. However, it's best to only take around 300 milligrams of magnesium a day since excess magnesium can have a laxative effect.
Taking these supplements regularly can improve the way you feel during the day and make it easier for you to get fulfilling sleep each night so you can keep your mood elevated and exhibit a healthy response to stress.
