Botanical Beauty Is Best

Roots, tree bark, flowers, and leaves - living things give life. Extracting this life force is what botanical skin care is all about. Bottom line: botanical products are teeming with life--and so are you! So why on earth would you use dead products on your gloriously alive skin? 

Commercial creams, lotions, and potions can clog your pores and damage your skin.

Petroleum is great for your car, but your skin? Not so much. You want your complexion to glow because its healthy versus shining because its greasy.

And preservatives do just that - they preserve. But you're not a slab of meat or a jar of jam. You don't need to be preserved or pickled or mummified. Botanical skin care products are important to your skins diet because they feed it nutrients, phytochemicals, and antioxidants that can help keep your complexion wrinkle-free, even-toned, and vibrant without being too oily.

Acne, age spots, unsightly freckles, discoloration - these unhealthy conditions can often be reversed if you sustain your skin with nutritious food. From tea tree oil and olive oil to green tea and chamomile tea - make sure that the grocery list for your face includes botanical ingredients like these.

Vetting the botanical source and extraction process are important steps you should take as an informed consumer to make sure that you really are getting the purest, healthiest botanicals for your bucks. The best extraction process will produce a living powder or liquid that will feed your skin and revitalize your whole countenance.

For example, the base with which the extract is mixed should be one that facilitates absorption without destroying the living enzymes in the extract - in other words, your skin should be able to easily drink it in. Do a little online research before you go shopping. Your skin will thank you for it later.
