It's not uncommon for people to feel intimidated by their health goals simply because it can take a long time to achieve them. However, there are plenty of easy ways you can improve your health right now. By taking small steps, you can make massive changes within a few months. Consider some of the easiest ways you can get started right now.

1. Take a Multi-vitamin

A great multivitamin can supplement the nutrients that you’re not always getting from your diet. The right option can also energize your body. With approval from your doctor, find a multivitamin that supports your body's needs in order to thrive. It’s easy to take once a day without shifting your schedule at all.

2. Go to Bed an Hour Earlier

Even though society might encourage you to work and burn the candle at both ends, you only get one body. You have to take care of it. By prioritizing more rest, you can support your body's ability to thrive. You'll also be able to think clearly and focus better when you're well-rested.

3. Shop Organic

There are so many pesticides, antibiotics, and other ingredients that don't belong in your food. Because the food industries are required to produce massive quantities of food, they pump antibiotics and other ingredients into the food for a faster turnaround.

Those antibiotics and pesticides can go into your bloodstream, and they can wreak havoc on your health. Instead, prioritize organic sources of meat, vegetables, fruit, and more.

4. Take a Cooler Shower

In addition to investing in organic foods, purchase organic body products to go on your skin. Your skin absorbs everything you apply to it. Make sure the ingredients support your health. As you lather and use an organic pH balanced body wash, decrease the temperature of your shower water.

You don't want to dry out your skin by taking a really hot shower. Plus, you can improve blood circulation if you decrease the water temperature.

5. Try Intermittent Fasting (16:8)

When your insulin levels spike, it's much harder for your body to effectively burn calories and repair itself. Give yourself a fasting period where you only consume water and unsweetened tea or coffee. Once you finish your dinner at 6:30 pm, don't eat again until 10:30 am. This gives your body a chance to process food and repair itself.

6. Walk for an Hour

Walking is a safe way to get your heart rate up without damaging your joints. Put on some great music, put on your comfortable sneakers and get moving. Try your best to get at least 2,000 steps in as you walk.

7. Drink unsweetened green tea

Green tea is known to be a really healthy beverage to consume. While you can still get tons of health benefits from drinking it hot, try cold-brewing it instead. Place the tea bag in a glass of water. Place the water in the fridge to set overnight. In the morning, drink it unsweetened. It can help you get more nutrients and decrease the bitter taste.

8. Indulge in a Relaxing Activity

Oftentimes, people are carrying a lot of stress on their bodies. As a result, this negatively impacts their health. Stress is considered one of the main reasons why people visit the hospital. In order to handle your stress, try to find activities that relax you or maintain different practices that can help you relieve stress.

Whether you choose to do yoga, meditation, or deep breathing, find an activity that you can do each day to relax your mind and body.

9. Add One Extra Serving of Fiber to the Diet

Whether you're looking to decrease your cholesterol level, maintain consistent bowel movements or lose weight, it’s important to incorporate fiber in your diet. If you're not getting any fiber in your diet, it's better to add it slowly. You don't want to negatively impact or overwhelm your system. Try to incorporate great sources of fiber such as beans, brown rice, and raw fruits and vegetables.

10. Drink More Water

Your body thrives when you give it water. Your digestive system, your skin health, and your level of energy are all directly impacted by the amount of water you drink each day. Try your best to keep a bottle of water by your bed each morning.

When you wake up, reach for it and drink since your body loses water as you sleep. Set a timer on your phone to remind you to drink water when you wake up.

All it takes is a mindset shift in order to see results. By choosing to fill up your cup with water instead of juice, you'll hydrate your body even more. By choosing to go to bed an hour earlier, you'll be able to feel more refreshed and energized the following day. Before long, these practices will become habits. As they become habits, your life can change.
