Have you heard of the trendy berry that has taken the food and health world by storm over the past few years? The acai berry has been heralded as the next great antioxidant fruit that has many different benefits and health properties. All of this is true, however, you don't have to consume the berry itself to enjoy its amazing benefits.

In fact, the berry has been shown to have tremendous benefits when it is used in skin and hair care. The small, black and purple fruit that looks similar to a grape has restorative and enriching properties that your hair and skin likely desperately crave.

One of the key aspects in any good anti-aging component is anti inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Acai berry has these in spades. In fact, because of the deep, rich levels of omega 3 and omega 6, as well as the B vitamins that exist in high frequency in this berry, it's no wonder that premature signs of aging really don't stand much of a chance.

The antioxidant levels in this fruit are astounding and incredibly impressive. So if you have lines, wrinkles, sagging skin or age spots, try to treat them with a bit of acai oil and you'll be surprised with the results after consistent use.

Great For Acne

If you are dealing with any type of acne, you need to make sure you are using products on your face that are going to not only clean your skin, but get rid of all the pesky germs that lies on the face. Acai berry oil can do just that, which will help to control your oil production and thwart additional blemishes from forming.

You can also rely on the intrinsic anti-inflammatory properties that will help to mitigate any swelling or puffiness that comes with your acne flare-ups. Acne can be so difficult to deal with so finding something that works to not only nourish the skin but thwart the occurrence of acne is vital.

Hair Moisture

One of the impressive aspects of this oil is its ability to provide light, sustaining, penetrable moisture. Many people have issues with putting specific oil in their hair without the hair then appearing oily. This won't be the issue with acai berry as it's naturally an emollient which means it can penetrate the hair shaft and lock in the moisture that your hair so desperately needs.

If you are suffering from hair that is dry, tangled or unruly, try taming it with some acai berry oil and watch how your hair drinks it right up leaving it bountiful and shiny.

Muscle Aches

Because of the anti-inflammatory properties that are latent in the oil, it's great if you need to recover from a sore or pulled muscle. If you're incredibly active, you may find that sometimes you overdo your workout or are on your feet a bit too long. Try treating your soreness with acai berry oil.
